The recruitment requirement
Jio-bp wanted to recruit Area Sales Representatives through preferred business schools across India. The brief called for a coordinated virtual recruitment process within a short schedule.
The employer shared its preferred campuses and eligibility requirements. Hireclap worked with placement officers to move from the role brief to applications, assessment and interview coordination.
From campus outreach to assessment
On 4 December 2021, Hireclap reached out to placement officers with the job description and online application link. More than 1,100 applications were received from 15 shortlisted business schools within the two-day application window.
Hireclap screened applications against the employer’s eligibility criteria and shortlisted 734 candidates for the online assessment scheduled for 9 December 2021.

Hireclap’s service and AssessEngine’s role
Hireclap handled recruitment coordination: college outreach, applications, eligibility screening, assessment logistics and interview support.
AssessEngine supplied the online assessment stage, including remote participation, proctoring and assessment results for recruiter review. The project account describes candidates taking the assessment from home, including through mobile internet connections shared with laptops.
What the project demonstrates
The recorded scope combines applications from multiple business schools with an eligibility-based assessment shortlist and a virtual delivery workflow. It illustrates how recruitment coordination and an assessment platform can work together in a campus drive.
The employer’s HR team could focus on reviewing results and interviewing candidates while Hireclap coordinated the surrounding operations.
