How much does an online assessment cost per candidate?
A standard objective assessment costs ₹80 plus GST per candidate attempt. The calculator uses this rate. Other formats, proctoring and custom services are quoted separately.
How much will it cost to assess 500 candidates?
At ₹80 per paid standard objective attempt, 500 attempts cost ₹40,000 plus GST. This assumes one paid attempt per candidate and excludes proctoring and other separately quoted services. The calculator provides a base estimate; your quotation confirms the final scope.
What is quoted separately?
Web proctoring, psychometric, video, subjective and combined assessments, and custom question creation are quoted separately. Share your required scope for a quotation.
Is payment collected in advance?
Yes. Payment for paid assessments is collected in advance against the approved quotation, before launch. The free assessment trial requires no card and has no automatic billing.
Should we choose pay per attempt or a subscription?
Compare your expected usage and the complete written scope. Pay per attempt can suit occasional hiring; a subscription may suit recurring usage if its included allowance and features fit. Can employers try AssessEngine for free?
Yes. Request 10 candidate attempts for one standard objective assessment with reports, once per organisation. Access lasts 14 days from manual activation. The allowance does not renew monthly.
Is the free assessment trial an ongoing free plan?
No. It is a one-time allowance of 10 attempts per organisation on one standard objective assessment, available for 14 days from manual activation. The allowance does not renew monthly. Reports are included; proctoring and custom formats are excluded.
When is a trial attempt consumed, and how are retries handled?
The team confirms the attempt-use rule, technical-failure and retry treatment, expiry and report-access terms before activation. Confirm these terms before inviting participants.
What happens when the free assessment trial ends?
Additional attempts require a paid purchase. There is no automatic charge. The team confirms your evaluation expiry and report-access terms at activation.

Can we use our own assessment questions?
Yes. Standard objective assessments can use the question library, your own uploaded questions or both. New custom questions created on request are quoted separately.
Can assessments connect to our ATS?
AssessEngine supports standard API connections. Confirm your specific ATS, required workflow and integration scope with the team before launch.
