The recruitment requirement
UTI Mutual Fund wanted to recruit management trainees from business schools across India within a short delivery schedule. The hiring brief required campus coordination, eligibility screening, online assessment and support for the subsequent interview process.
Hireclap coordinated the recruitment workflow while the employer retained responsibility for reviewing candidates and making hiring decisions.
How the virtual workflow was organised
College outreach began on 14 December 2021. The recruitment campaign involved 36 shortlisted colleges and received more than 1,000 applications.
Candidates were screened against the employer’s requirements. A group of 400 candidates was selected for the online assessment, which was scheduled for 26 December 2021.
- Coordinate with college placement officers and share the application invitation.
- Provide dedicated recruitment pages and online application collection.
- Screen applications against the employer’s eligibility requirements.
- Invite the selected candidates to the AssessEngine assessment.
- Coordinate assessment delivery, review results and publish the assessment shortlist.
- Support virtual interview coordination and candidate communication.
Hireclap’s service and AssessEngine’s role
Hireclap managed the campus-facing and candidate-facing coordination around the hiring process, including application invitations, profile screening, assessment invitations and interview support.
AssessEngine provided the online assessment stage and results that the employer could review when planning interviews. Remote proctoring formed part of the project’s assessment setup.
What the project demonstrates
The project brings together a multi-college application pipeline, an assessment cohort and a coordinated virtual recruitment process. Outreach and the scheduled assessment fell within the December delivery window described in the project account.
The employer’s team could focus on reviewing assessment evidence and interviewing candidates while Hireclap coordinated delivery.
